Black racism and white guilt may usher Obama into the White House

For the record, I am a naturalized citizen of Ethiopian origin. And what this means is that I am classified as a person originated from the African continent and thus black.

During this hard fought election, we are bombarded by the main stream media and Obama himself that his candidacy transcends race. Except that one too many times he reminds us he does not look like those Presidents on the dollar bill. Except that the main stream media keep accusing any one who dare to question Obama on any subject a racist even Joe the plumber.

I have always thought thattotranscend means “to move beyond, to surpass.” But I’m certain that in this election it does means “to move beyond” ONLY if we do come to the fold of the Obama camp just like a way ward sheep without any questions.

Obama aided by sheer black racism and by the main stream media that successfully unleash a ‘white guilt’ is on the verge of talking his way into the white house. So much for the sham democracy!

What? You don’t agree with my assertion, good, then explain to me how is that over 90% of blacks are voting for Obama if not because of solidarity with color and thus black racism? Wait! This black racism goes even beyond that. Here is a case in point. What is up with “Ethiopians for Obama’ group? Isn’t that black racism? Has anyone ever heard of ‘Ethiopians for Kerry’?

Sadly, Obama’s candidacy is benefited not in spite of racism but precisely because he has played racism to his advantage. In fact, Obama has set off a case of full-blown race phobia among the population that swears Obama is leading us out of the racial enslavement. Try it. Mention the word Community organizer! You are labeled a ‘Racist’; say Obama seems arrogant! You are a ‘Racist’; say he ‘pals around with radicals like Ayers! You are a “Racist’; Ask any thing about Obama, you are a ‘Racist’; Even questioning his tax policy and equating it to socialism will certainly make you a ‘Racist’. So much for the sham democracy!

I don’t even think Obama himself believes he transcends race. He embraces race and racism. Well, he talks about transcending, of course. Except that he intentionally chose to join a black church whose theology is shot-through with Black Nationalism and whose longtime pastor believes that black brains are different from white brains. I, a black person myself, don’t think my brain is different than a white person’s brain. But Obama was comfortable and at home in that church for 20 years. Is that what transcending means?

The saddest part of all these is that no one can raise such issues without coming under the wrath of main stream media. Oh, no, the candidate himself thinks he should not be questioned on these issues too.

On Rev. Wright, no Obama wants us to just shut up and focus on the economy. On Ayers, the radical self confessed socialist, he basically told us that we should agree with him that it just does not matter. Ask the media, they will tell you, Obama successfully refuted these allegations. Except that there is a huge difference between refuting a fact and a denying a fact. Obama just denied the facts and told us to shut up.

What do Obama and his followers demand from us all? They only demand one kind of transcendence from all Americans. We must, as Obama likes to say and will repeat it again this week, unite as one people, one nation and one American family (oh yea one world family too) and transcend all of our misgivings about Barrack Obama. Then, and only then, will ‘The Messiah’ fulfill his wife’s pledge and fix our broken souls. Who could disagree with this? You know the answer.

Only a racist could possibly disagree. Of course, it does not matter even if you are black like me. You still are a racist.

The Democratic Socialist Party and Obama

Powerlineblog.com posted a piece tonight that they have evidence proving that Obama was a member of the Democratic Socialist Party wing in Chicago called the New Party. In my earlier post today I argued that Obama's polices and solutions for the problem of this country have a socialist tendencies. Having lived under one I have a good sense of spotting a socialist policy when I see one.

Here you have it. America, the greatest and most generous country on the planet, is on the verge of ushring a socialist President unless and otherwise the electorate is duly informed in the next few days to change course.

Keep the focus on the character of Obama and his socialist tendencies

For those of us who pursue politics closely, it is easy to see the shady associations of Obama with people who clearly fit the definition of terriorists. It is also easy to see the socialist tendencies of his policies. His hidden intention to make government more powerful and big. His willingness to meet with Iran and other undemocratic leaders without precondition because he believes in the power of persuation.

The media is not willing to raise these legitimate questions. They will rather accuse others who raise these questions as racist. But, the McCain-Palin camp must raise these issues. Gov Palin has been doing a heck of great job these days reminding voters about the 'unAmerican' character of Obama.  In fact, they need to keep reminding voters about the 'gun and religion clinging' voters Obama was referring to.

On the economy, the McCain camp must repeat again and again that Obama has never in his entire career lead an organization and thus severly lack experience and he does not even know a thing or two about economics.  Go and highlight the perception that Obama knows how to fix the economy is nothing but a perception painted by the elite media. Highlight McCain's fight to regulate Fannie Mae but Pelosi and co killed the effort.  Keep pounding on these issues and you will see a result sooner than you expected.

Some Democrats get it!

Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a well known Democratic party activist and a top Hillary Clinton fundraiser, threw her support behind Republican John McCain on Wednesday, saying he will lead the country in a centrist fashion and accusing the Democrats of becoming too extreme.  "I just ask, who has Barack Obama ever stood up to? And that troubles me a lot," she said. Good for her. She has got it. In the coming weeks, other democratic leaning voters will also get it so long as the McCain campaign stays on message. Read it here.

Race is the elephant in the room: Democrats and the media are crying foul

Democrats and the media are decrying foul on the basis of race. They are telling America ‘if Obama loses, it is because he is black.’ How pathetic can one get?

After having nominated the most liberal candidate to ever run for the Presidency and the first with a razor thin resume, they now decry foul when they begin to see that the American people are not that stupid after all.  To suggest that there will not be any other plausible reason why Obama will lose this election other than his skin color is the most intellectually dishonest argument I ever heard.

Obama’s skin color alone won’t cost him the Presidency. Selecting Joe Biden instead of Hillary Clinton for Vice President might be argued as a grave error in judgment that will have cost him the election.

To me, a foreign born and a keen observer of American politics, such lame blackmailing and guilt traps are laughable. When 90% of black Americans polled are saying they are voting for Obama, Why is there no decry as to racism being a possible motive of those voters? Why is it racism a factor only when one votes for McCain instead of Obama?

Media’s ferocious attempt to destroy Gov Palin’s candidacy must not be allowed to succeed

It is an official secret that the media in collusion with the Democrats are in full gear to destroy Gov Palin’s candidacy. I don’t need to bore you with the details of the smear rather I would focus on some of the things the McCain camp must do or not do to successfully ride the bounce it is enjoying for the next 7 weeks and win the election.

Gov Palin should continue to campaign solo as well as along side with Senator McCain in the battle ground states. Her stump speech must be tightly crafted in such a way as to clearly highlight her executive experience and reform success and how McCain and she intend to bring changes to Washington. Gov Palin should contrast the well documented lack of decisive decision making ability and political opportunism of Senator Obama by drawing attention to his hundreds of ‘present votes’ and his abandoning of public financing.

Gov Palin must not and ought not to grant media interviews liberally. Time is short between now and November 4. Any genuine misstatements and hence campaign hiccups will have a devastating effect and must be avoided.  In fact, the fewer the interviews Gov Palin grant to the media the better for the campaign as that would certainly increase her political currency and newness.  After all, Gov Palin already granted interviews to ABC, CBS, and Fox and that should be it.

Perception matters a lot as much as substance in American elections

Whether it is fair or not Perception matters a lot as much as substance in American elections. This historical election of 2008 is no different.

Obama, with his historic candidacy, has already sent a buzz through out the political map soaring by the day. Of course, alone the way he keeps stumbling. McCain, on the other hand, with a campaign that asks the electorate but for a thrid Republican term has been battling a tough election season.

Still perceptions do matter and they matter a whole lot. Aided by the conflict between Russia and Gerorgia that unfortunately casts a doubt on Obama’s ability to handle and by a newly minted media magnate Gov. Sarah as his running mate, McCain seems to change the perception the electorate has of him for the better.

The next two months are very crucial for both campaigns and it is interesting to watch the drama.
